City of <br />jJ~ <br />Minnesota, USA <br />Closed Executive Session <br />of the City Council <br />Minutes <br />Roseville City Hall Council Chambers <br />10:00 p.m. <br />Monday, October 13, 2008 <br />1. Property Acquisition of 2785 Fairview Avenue <br />Present at 10:00 p.m.: Councilmembers Willmus; Roe; Ihlan; Pust; and <br />Klausing. Also present: City. Attorney Jay Squires; City Manager William <br />Malinen; Finance Director Christopher Miller; and Community <br />Development Director Patrick Trudgeon. <br />City Attorney Squires advised that the Open Meeting law requires the <br />City, prior to closing a meeting, to state the grounds allowing closure and <br />to describe the subject to be discussed. City Attorney Squires advised <br />that according to Minnesota Statute Section 13D.05 subd. 3 (c) (3) of the <br />Open Meeting Law, closure is permitted for the purpose of discussing <br />property acquisition. City Attorney Squires described the subject to be <br />discussed as acquisition of the property at 2785 Fairview Avenue. <br />The Regular Meeting convened at 6:00 p.m. in Open Session. The <br />meeting was closed and Council convened in Executive Session at 10:00 <br />p.m. City Manager William Malinen then provided an overview regarding <br />the property acquisition at 2785 Fairview Avenue. Mayor Klausing <br />adjourned the meeting at 10:30 p.m. <br />
