Call Roll <br />Mayor Klausing called to order the regular meeting of the Roseville City Council at ap- <br />proximately 6:00 p.m. and welcomed everyone. <br />Voting and Seating Order: Roe; Ihlan; Willmus; Pust; and Klausing. <br />Finance Director Chris Miller was present, serving as Acting City Manager; City Attor- <br />ney Jay Squires was also present. <br />2. Approve Agenda <br />Councilmember Ihlan requested removal of Consent Agenda Item 7.d entitled, Adopt a <br />Resolution supporting the Ramsey County Library remaining open during Reconstruc- <br />tion." By consensus, the agenda was approved as amended. <br />3. Housing & Redevelopment Authority (HRA) Interviews <br />Councilmembers interviewed Josh Fuhrman for a vacancy on the HRA. HRA Vice Chair <br />Dean Maschka was also present during the interview. <br />4. Public Comment <br />Mayor Klausing called for public comment by members of the audience on any non- <br />agenda items. No one appeared to speak. <br />5. Council Communications, Reports & Announcements & Housing and Redevelop- <br />ment Authority (HRA) Report <br />a. HRA Council Liaison Pust briefly reported on ongoing work of the HRA in mak- <br />ing the annual Home and Garden Fair greener; and reported on the recent success <br />of the first HRA-sponsored Energy Forum. <br />5. Recognitions, Donations, Communications <br />a. Recognition of Roseville Police Officer's Work during the Republican Na- <br />tional Convention <br />Finance Director Chris Miller presented several bench handouts, consisting of let- <br />ters of appreciation to the City's Police Department for their work dut`ing the Re- <br />publican National Convention. <br />Mayor Klausing, on behalf of the City Council and community, thanked Chief <br />Sletner and Police officers for their work. <br />
