<br />I wanted to ]et you know what a great job several of your officers did while in our area
<br />during the recent RNC in St. Paul, MN. Officers Nick Olson (#168), Tom Pitzel, (#190),
<br />Kirk Lindahl (# 131), and Dennis Mooney (# 125) were stationed near our medical
<br />building, which is located within a 2-block radius of the Excel Center where the RNC
<br />was being hosted. While we did a good job at preparing for the event these past few
<br />months from a security standpoint, I know for many of us, there was a bit of unease after
<br />seeing some of the trouble on the news.
<br />All four of your officers did a GREAT job at making our staff, hospital security persons,
<br />and patient population feel at ease, which proved to be invaluable. In addition, several of
<br />our physicians appreciated their advice on how to navigate between St. Joe's and United
<br />when emergency help was needed. Their patience and positive attitude throughout the
<br />week is to be cotntnended especially noting the long hours that were put in throughout
<br />the week. Whether it was Gam or 6pm, they were diligent in their duties, helpful, and fun
<br />to have around the campus!
<br />1 wanted to ensure you were made aware of how much we appreciated them - we felt
<br />very fortunate and blessed. It is nice to know eve have such a.vesome law enforcement
<br />and i wanted to say thanks.
