Call Roll <br />Mayor Klausing called to order the regular meeting of the Roseville City Council at ap- <br />proximately 6:00 p.m. and welcomed everyone. <br />Interim City Councilmember Robert Willmus was sworn in by his father Thomas M. <br />Willmus, at which time Councilmember Willmus introduced his family in attendance to- <br />night, and provided brief comments and expressed appreciation for those friends and <br />family who had been instrumental in his pursuit of community service. <br />Mayor Klausing welcomed Councilmember Willmus, and noted that the gavel he used to <br />call tonight's meeting to order had previously been used by Councilmember Willmus's <br />great-grandfather and grandfather who had both served at separate times on the Roseville <br />Town Board. <br />Voting and Seating Order: Willmus; Ihlan; Pust; Roe; and Klausing. <br />City Attorney Jay Squires was also present. <br />2. Approve Agenda <br />Mayor Klausing noted removal of Business Action Item 12.a entitled, "Consider request <br />to perform a City Abatement for unresolved City Code Violations at 2112 Dale Street;" <br />as staff had advised that code violations had been remedied prior to tonight's meeting. <br />Mayor Klausing also requested removal of Business Action Item 12.h entitled, "Consider <br />Ratification of Appointment to the Housing and Redevelopment Authority Board;" to al- <br />low him time for deliberation and preparation of a recommendation to the full Council. <br />By consensus, the agenda was approved as amended. <br />3. Public Comment <br />Mayor Klausing called for public comment by members of the audience on any non- <br />agenda items. <br />a. George Bednar, 2940 N Hamline Avenue with wife Lillian <br />Mr. Bednar, on behalf of himself and his wife Lillian, complimented the City <br />Council on their appointment of Interim Councilmember Willmus, noting his per- <br />sonal attributes as a neighbor and friend, and encouraged others in assisting eld- <br />erly residents. <br />b.
