EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, 10th day of November, 2008, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: Pust, Willmus, Roe, Ihlan and Klausing and the following members were absent: none Councilmember Pust introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 10664 RESOLUTION APPROVING AGENCY AGREEMENT FOR FEDERAL PARTICIPATION IN PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING FOR SP 160-091; MP NMTP 6209(117) BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: WHEREAS, the Northeast Suburban Campus Connector Bike/ Pedestrian Project, SP 160- 091; MP NMTP 6209(117), will be funded by a Federal transportation grant; AND WHEREAS, Minnesota Department of Transportation uses the Delegated Contract Process (DCP) to streamline the process and allow local agencies to let and administer construction contracts for Federal Aid projects; AND WHEREAS, Mn/DOT acts as the City's agent through the DCP to accept federal funds for the City; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that pursuant to Minnesota statute Section 161.36, the Commissioner of Transportation be appointed as Agent of the City of Roseville to accept as its agent, federal aid funds which maybe made available for eligible transportation related projects. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Mayor and the City Manager are hereby authorized and directed for an on behalf of the City of Roseville to execute and enter into an agreement with the Commissioner of Transportation prescribing the terms and conditions of said federal aid participation as set forth and contained in "Minnesota Department of Transportation Agency Agreement No. 93491 ", a copy of which said agreement was before the City Council and which is made a part hereof by reference. The motion was duly seconded by Councilmember Willmus and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Pust, Willmus, Roe, Ihlan and Klausing; the following voted against: none; and the following abstained: none. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
