<br />Planning Commission Board Meeting <br />City Council Chambers, 2660 Civic Center Drive <br />Minutes - Wednesday, March 05, 2008 <br />1. Call to Order <br />Chair Bakeman called to order the Planning Commission meeting at 6:00 p.m. and reviewed the role and <br />purpose of the Planning Commission. <br />2. Roll Call & Introductions <br />City Planner Thomas Paschke called the Roll. <br />Members Present: Commissioners Ildephonse Gasongo; Daniel Boerigter; Barbara Martinson; <br />Joe Wozniak; and Chair Mary Bakeman <br /> <br />Excused Absences: Jim Doherty and Thomas Gottfried <br />Staff present: City Planner Thomas Paschke; Associate Planner Bryan Lloyd; and City Engineer Debra <br />Bloom <br /> <br />Also present:City Traffic Consulting Engineer Craig Vaughn, SRF Engineering, Inc. <br />3. Approval of Minutes <br />MOTION <br />Member Martinson moved, seconded by Member Boerigter to approve meeting minutes of <br />February 06, 2008 as amended <br />Corrections: <br />Staff was requested to remove all notations regarding data privacy information. <br />Ayes: 5 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion carried. <br />4. Communications and Recognitions: <br />a. From the Public (Public Comment on items not on the agenda): <br />No one appeared to speak on any non-agenda items. <br />b. From the Staff or Commission: <br />Staff requested that Agenda Item 5.e be moved before Item 5.c. Commissioners concurred. <br />Chair Bakeman noted that Commissioner Ildephonse Gasongo’s term expires at the end of <br />March, and that he was not seeking reappointment. Commissioner Bakeman, on behalf of the <br />community, City Council, staff and Planning Commission thanked Commissioner Gasongo for his <br />time and service to the community. <br />Commissioner Gasongo expressed his pleasure serving on the Planning Commission, noting that <br />it had been a learning experience. Commissioner Gasongo assured fellow commissioners that <br />he would remain active, and continue to invest time and effort in his community. <br />5. Public Hearings <br />a. PROJECT FILE 0004 <br />Discussion of the current progress and status of the ongoing update of Roseville’s <br />Comprehensive Plan <br />Chair Bakeman opened the Public Hearing for Project File 0004. <br />Chair Bakeman updated Commissioners and the public on the Comprehensive Plan Update <br />currently in progress, and announced the upcoming Community Open House on Thursday, March <br />27, 2008 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Roseville City Hall (2660 Civic Center Drive). Chair Bakeman <br />noted that the purpose of the meeting was to receive public comment on the evolution of the City <br />of Roseville over the next ten to twenty years, specifically related to future land use, <br /> <br />
