Call Roll <br />Mayor Klausing called to order the regular meeting of the Roseville City Council at ap- <br />proximately 6:00 p.m. and welcomed everyone. <br />Voting and Seating Order: Pust; Willmus; Roe; Ihlan; and Klausing. <br />City Attorney Jay Squires was also present. <br />2. Approve Agenda <br />By consensus, the agenda was approved as presented. <br />3. Public Comment <br />Mayor Klausing called for public comment by members of the audience on any non- <br />agenda items. No one appeared to speak. <br />4. Council Communications, Reports, Announcements & Housing and Redevelopment <br />Authority (HRA) Report <br />5. Recognitions, Donations, Communications <br />a. Minnesotans for Safe Driving Honors Two Roseville Police Officers <br />Police Chief Carol Sletner introduced Ms. Sharon Gerhman-Driscoll, Director and <br />Victim Advocate representing Minnesotans for Safe Driving, who briefly ex- <br />plained the purpose of the program and their recognition of police officers across <br />the state who kept citizens and visitors safe, and this method of bringing attention <br />to this crime and impacts to victims and their families. Ms. Gerhman-Driscoll <br />applauded law enforcement personnel, thanked the City of Roseville, Chief Slet- <br />ner and Roseville Police Officers for their part in making roadways safer. <br />Ms. Gerhman-Driscoll formally recognized and expressed pride and appreciation <br />in Roseville Police Officers Aaron Craven (2006 recipient) and Brooke Jennings <br />(2007 recipient) for their DWI enforcement activities, by presenting both officers <br />with a plaque before the Roseville City Council. <br />Chief Sletner noted that Officer Schneider was accepting recognition on behalf of <br />Officer Craven.. Lt. Rosand was also present. <br />
