EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 10th day of November, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Pust, Willmus, Roe, Ihlan and Klausing <br />and the following were absent: none. <br />Member Pust introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 10663 <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING AN <br />IDENTITY THEFT PREVENTION PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, the Federal Trade Commission, in conjunction with other federal agencies, has adopted an <br />"Identity Theft Red Flag Rule" which requires all creditors, to develop an "Identity Theft Prevention <br />Program"; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville's water and sewer function meets the FTC's definition of a creditor <br />because we provide services up front with the intent to collect monies at a later date. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, that an <br />Identity Theft Prevention Program is hereby established and that this Program complies with the Federal <br />Trade Commission's "Red Flag Rule". <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Willmus <br />and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Pust, Willmus, Roe, Ihlan <br />and Klausing <br />and the following voted against the same: none. <br />WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
