EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center <br />Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the 15t1' day of December, 2008, at 6:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Ihlan, Willmus, Roe, Pust and Klausing and the following <br />were absent: none. <br />Councilperson Ihlan introduced and moved the adoption of the following resolution: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10672 <br />RECEIVING THE FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR 2009 PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT <br />PROGRAM AND ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING FOR IMPROVEMENT <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted July 21, 2008, a report has been <br />prepared by the City Engineer with reference to the improvement of the following streets: <br />Nei hborhood Street From To <br />57/59/60 Roselawn Avenue Hamline Ave Victoria Street <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br />necessary, cost effective, and feasible; whether it should best be made as proposed or in <br />connection with some other improvement; the estimated cost of the improvement as <br />recommended; and a description of the methodology used to calculate individual assessments for <br />affected parcels. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. The City Council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with the report <br />and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of <br />$2,510,467.21. <br />2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 26th day of January, <br />2009, in the council chambers of the city hall at 6:00 p.m. and the City Manager shall give <br />mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilperson <br />Klausing and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Ihlan, <br />Willmus, Roe, Pust and Klausing and the following voted against the same: none. <br />
