<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF TliE VILLAGE COlmCIL <br />or ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD APRIL 1, 1968 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of <br />the Village Council of Roseville, flinnesota, was duly called and <br />held at the Village Hall in said Village on April 1, 1968, at 7:30 <br />0' clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Acting [ilayor Graue 1, <br />Councilmen Curley, Linebarger and Shields <br /> <br />and the follO\'ling members were absent: Ilayor 1"1011 <br /> <br />Member Shields introduced the following: resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2068 <br /> <br />j'JHEREAS, the Village Pub lie Works Director has prepared plans <br />and specifications for modification of that section of the Village <br />watermain system lying within the Rose Vista Court apartments at <br />Larpenteur Avenue and Fernwood Avenue by replacement of curb boxes <br />ffi1d instUlation of valves and to present such plans and specifications <br />to the Council for aiJproval; <br /> <br />NO'!, THEREFORE, BE IT HESOLVED by the Village Council of the <br />Village of Roseville, p,linnesota: <br /> <br />1. Such plans and specifications, copy of which are attached <br />hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. <br /> <br />2. The Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in <br />the official vi llage paper and advertisement for bids upon making such <br />iml'rovement under such approved plans and specifications. 'TIle advertise- <br />ment shall be published for 10 days, shall specify the work to be done <br />and shall state the bids will be opened and considered by the Council at <br />11:30 A.H. on April 19, 1968, in the Council Chambers of the Village <br />Hall, and that no bids \\Jill be considered unless sealed and filed wi th <br />the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond <br />or certified check payable to the Clerk for ten per cent of the amount <br />of such bid. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the forepoinr resolution was duly <br />seconded by [,lerlber Curley and upon Vote being taken thereon all present <br />voted in favor thereof. <br /> <br />iVHE RE UPON , the said resolution was declared duly passed and adopteJ. <br />
