<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSBVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the City Hall <br />in said City on Monday, May 24, 1993, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: P. Johnson, Maschka, Cushman, <br />Goedeke, and V. Johnson and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8942 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF <br />IMPROVEMENT P-ST-SS-W-93-l0, LINCOLN DRIVE AND COUNTY ROAD C-2, <br />AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on May 10, 1993,to consider <br />improvements to Lincoln Drive from Lydia Avenue to Terrace Drive and <br />County Road C-2 from Lincoln Drive to snelling Avenue, City Project <br />P-ST-SS-W-93-l0; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice was given; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city Council continued the public hearing until May 24, <br />1993, for final action; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the city of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, that in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, <br />Chapter 429, as amended, the Council continued a public hearing on May <br />24, 1993, to consider the proposed construction of city Improvement <br />P-ST-SS-W-93-10 consisting of the construction of Lincoln Drive from <br />Lydia Avenue to Terrace Drive and county Road C-2 from Lincoln Drive to <br />Snelling Avenue by the installation of bituminous paving, concrete curb <br />and gutter, sanitary sewer service, watermain, drainage facilities, and <br />necessary appurtenances as described in the Notice of Hearing at a cost <br />presently estimated at $2,427,100 and substantially in accordance with <br />the preliminary report as to the feasibility thereof which is now on <br />file in the office of the City Manager; at which all persons desiring to <br />be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon, and having <br />considered the views of all interested persons, the Council does hereby <br />determine and order that said improvement shall be constructed and <br />financed. <br /> <br />The consulting firm of Short, Elliott, Hendrickson, Inc. (SEH) is <br />designated as the Engineer for the project and is requested to prepare <br />and submit to the Council the final plans and specifications for the <br />improvement. <br />
