EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 25~` day of August 2008, at 6:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Ihlan, Pust, Roe, Willmus, Klausing <br />and none was absent. <br />Council Member Pust introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10650 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE MAP <br />DESIGNATION AMENDMENT FROM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL AND <br />MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO INSTITUTIONAL 2218, 2234, 2236 AND 2240 <br />HAMLINE AVENUE ALONG WITH ASSOCIATED PARCELS (PF08-030) <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at a public hearing held on May 5, 2004, <br />pertaining to the request they received from the Ramsey County Library for a Comprehensive <br />Land Use Plan Amendment on property addressed as 2218, 2234, 2236, and 2240 Hamline <br />Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed Comprehensive Land Use Plan Amendment requires a map <br />designation change from "LD" (Low Density Residential) and "MD" (Medium Density <br />Residential) to "IN" (Institutional); and <br />WHEREAS, said properties are legally described as: <br />SEE LEGAL DESCRIPTION ATTACHMENT <br />PIN 10-29-23-43-0101, 10-29-23-43-0103, 10-29-23-43-0099, 10-29-23-43-98, <br />10-29-23-43-0083, 10-29-23-43-0084 10-29-23-43-0085, <br />10-29-23-43-0086, and 10-29-23-43-0087 <br />WHEREAS, after required public hearings, the Roseville Planning Commission <br />recommended approval (7-0) of the request for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment, indicating <br />support for the library addition and site improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council at their meeting of August 25, 2008, was <br />presented with the project report from the Planning Division regarding the subject request; and <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council hereby approve the <br />amendment to the Comprehensive Plan from "LD" (Low Density Residential) and "MD" <br />(Medium Density Residential) to "IN" (Institutional) for property and associated parcels <br />addressed at 2218, 2234, 2236, and 2240 Hamline Avenue (legally described above), subject to <br />the following conditions: <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
