EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 25~` day of August 2008, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: Ihlan, Pust, Roe, Willmus, Klausing and none was absent. Council Member Pust introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 10650 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE MAP DESIGNATION AMENDMENT FROM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL AND MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO INSTITUTIONAL 2218, 2234, 2236 AND 2240 HAMLINE AVENUE ALONG WITH ASSOCIATED PARCELS (PF08-030) WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at a public hearing held on May 5, 2004, pertaining to the request they received from the Ramsey County Library for a Comprehensive Land Use Plan Amendment on property addressed as 2218, 2234, 2236, and 2240 Hamline Avenue; and WHEREAS, the proposed Comprehensive Land Use Plan Amendment requires a map designation change from "LD" (Low Density Residential) and "MD" (Medium Density Residential) to "IN" (Institutional); and WHEREAS, said properties are legally described as: SEE LEGAL DESCRIPTION ATTACHMENT PIN 10-29-23-43-0101, 10-29-23-43-0103, 10-29-23-43-0099, 10-29-23-43-98, 10-29-23-43-0083, 10-29-23-43-0084 10-29-23-43-0085, 10-29-23-43-0086, and 10-29-23-43-0087 WHEREAS, after required public hearings, the Roseville Planning Commission recommended approval (7-0) of the request for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment, indicating support for the library addition and site improvements; and WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council at their meeting of August 25, 2008, was presented with the project report from the Planning Division regarding the subject request; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council hereby approve the amendment to the Comprehensive Plan from "LD" (Low Density Residential) and "MD" (Medium Density Residential) to "IN" (Institutional) for property and associated parcels addressed at 2218, 2234, 2236, and 2240 Hamline Avenue (legally described above), subject to the following conditions: Page 1 of 3
