It is one of the most <br />innovative art forms that has inspired musicians, artists, dancers, writers and others to be more <br />creative. Jazz, too, is an art form that bridges differences of race, gender, age and backgrounds. <br />The City of Roseville recognizes that variety of musical creativity. This summer visitors can <br />listen to jazz, blues, big band, classical, rock and other musical genres at the free summer <br />entertainment series at Central Park. <br />Each year the Roseville Visitors Association and community organizations sponsor a Winter <br />Jazz Slast. The Jazz Slast draws jazz enthusiasts from around the state, promoting our <br />community and promoting good music. <br />REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION <br />Pass resolution declaring April to be Jazz Appreciation Month in Roseville. <br />Prepared by: William J.
