2009 — 2018 Capital Improvement Plan <br />Public Works Administration <br />The 2009-2018 Public Works Administration/Engineering division Capital Improvement Plan <br />(CIP) has been developed to identify needs to support the engineering function. The CIP was <br />developed to support the intent of the Imagine Roseville 2025 goals to meet staff and <br />Community needs. <br />The Public Works Administration and Engineering division provides for planning, design, <br />construction, and maintenance of infrastructure. As built records are maintained for city <br />infrastructure and the division also provides for city GIS mapping services. The division also <br />ensures compliance with a host of regulatory requirements including storm water and <br />environmental areas. <br />The Public Works Administration and Engineering divisions long range goals include: <br />❖ Manage the replacement and rehabilitation of city infrastructure <br />❖ Meet the regulatory goals of watershed districts and others for infiltration and control of <br />storm water. <br />❖ Provide excellent customer service in providing engineering services to the community <br />To support these goals we will need to replace the existing complement of vehicles, survey <br />equipment, computers, and printers used in the provision of these services. <br />O�erational Im�acts <br />Other regulatory agencies have an impact on operational needs due to regulation enforcement at <br />the local level. An additional vehicle may be needed if additional staff is employed to meet these <br />needs. The city also has aging utility infrastructure in need of rehabilitation or replacement <br />requiring additional engineering services. <br />Financial Im�acts <br />The 2009-2018 Public Works Administration Division CIP totals $185,000.
