Applications <br />. for CHRP grants will be accepted online via the COPS Office web site beginning March 16, <br />. 2009 through April 14, 2009. <br />. The City of Roseville Police Department is eligible to apply for this funding which would cover <br />. the full cost of entry level salaries and benefits for 36 months for newly hired, full-time sworn <br />� officers. Grantees are required to retain all sworn officer positions awarded through the grant <br />� after grant funding is depleted. <br />� The police department is requesting approval to apply for CHRP funding to fill the existing <br />� unfilled sworn position and to add two new positions of full-time commercial patrol officer and a <br />� second full-time traffic officer to its roster. <br />� BUDGET IMPLICATIONS <br />� None--for the first three years. Positions would be funded by grant monies for the first <br />� three years.
