Department Approval <br />��. .�: �� <br />l�'�, <br />Jy <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />Date: 03-23-09 <br />Item No.: 11 . a <br />Acting City Manager Approval <br />� .�: �� <br />Item Description: Public Hearing to Consider an application for Keys Cafe for an On-Sale Wine and <br />3.2% Liquor License at 1682 Lexington Avenue. <br />Background <br />Keys Cafe has applied for an On-Sale Wine and 3.2% Liquor License at 1682 Lexington Avenue. The City <br />Attorney will review the application prior to the issuance of the license to ensure that it is in order. A <br />representative from Keys Cafe will attend the hearing to answer any questions the Council may have. <br />Financial Implications <br />The revenue that is generated from the license fees collected is used to offset the cost of police <br />compliance checks, background investigations, enforcement of liquor laws, and license administration. <br />Recommendations <br />It is recommended that the license be approved for the period March 23, 2009 thru December 31, 2009. <br />Council Action <br />Motion approving/denying the On-Sale Wine and 3.2% Liquor License, for Keys Cafe located at 1682 <br />Lexington Avenue. <br />Prepared by: Chris Miller, Finance Director <br />Attachments: A: Applications <br />L5 <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />
