On March 9, the <br />Council interviewed 18 applicants, three applicants were not available for interviews on that <br />date, and Srad Peper withdrew his name from consideration. In addition, five sitting <br />commissioners interviewed on February 9, 2009 for reappointment to their respective <br />commissions. <br />Commissioners are appointed to three-year terms and are eligible to serve up to two consecutive <br />full terms.
