Fact: The operation of the control booth has been a revolving door operation with new
faces coming and going all the time. The various technical and procedural problems
have been documented several times at these council meetings. Nothing has changed
regarding these issues since I was omitted from the work schedule. I have personally
seen how these control booth screw ups have created problems for you Mr. Malinen.
One time as a private citizen in the audience, I tended my assistance to you to correct a
problem that should have been addressed by Mr. Pratt.
The city manager has the power of investigation of any city employee. The city council
has also expressed its frustration and displeasure on several occasions regarding the
televising of council meetings. While the City collects around $400,000 a year in
franchise fees from Comcast, and those fees are essentially coming from cable t.v.
subscribers in Roseville, one has to wonder why these deficiencies persist.
Sincerely,
Bryan Olson
1592 Roselawn Av W
Falcon Heights MN 55113
(651) 646-5788
2 of 2
