EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the city of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall on Monday, the fourteenth day of June, 1993, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Goedeke, Maschka, Cushman, P. Johnson, and V. Johnson and the following were absent: None. Councilmember Cushman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 8947 AWARD OF BID FOR CITY PROJECT M-92-23 CONSTRUCTION OF MECHANICAL SUPPORT BUILDING JOHN ROSE MINNESOTA OVAL Whereas, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said city, said bids were received on May 21, 1993, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Contractor Shingobee Mikkleson Wulff CM Construction Base Bid $371,000 $443,892 $550,445 Alternate 1 $26,250 $51,500 $33,500 Total Bid $397,250 $495,392 $583,945 WHEREAS, it appears that Shingobee Builders, Inc. of Loretto, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder at the base bid amount of $371,000 and with Alternate 1 included for a total bid of $397,250; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota: 1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Shingobee Builders, Inc. for the base bid amount of $371,000 with Alternate 1 not included in the name of the city of Roseville for the above improvement according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Manager. 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed. The motion was seconded by Councilmember P. Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Goedeke, Maschka, Cushman, P. Johnson, and V. Johnson and the following voted against: None. Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
