<br />RESOLUTION NO. 256 <br /> <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF VILLAGE COUNCIL, VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA, HELD TUESDAY, MARCH 17, 1959. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the Village Council <br />of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held at the Village Hall in <br />said Village on Tue sday, the 17th day of March, 1959, at 2: 00 0' clock P.M.. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Cedarholm, Keene, Brennan and Carlson <br /> <br />and the following were absent: Shields <br /> <br />Trustee Carlson introduced and moved the adoption of the following resolution: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />AND ORDERING ADVERTIS~IENT FOR BIDS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Village Council on <br />March 19, 1958, the Village Engineers, Banister Engineering Co., have prepared <br />plans and specifications for Project No.5 of Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. II <br />and have presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY 'THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, NINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto, and <br />made a part hereof, are hereby approved. <br /> <br />2. The Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the Rose Tribune, <br />the official paper, and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids <br />upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. <br />The advertisement shall be published as required by law, shall specify the work <br />to be done, shall call for bids upon the basis of a cash payment for such work, <br />shall state that bids will be opened and considered by the Council at 11:30 o'clock <br />A.M. on April 13, 19,9, Monday, in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall, that <br />no bins will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied <br />by a cash deposit or certified check payable to the Clerk for 10 percent (10%) of <br />the amount of such bid and that the advertisement shall state a completion date <br />of October 15, 1959. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Trustee Keene, and upon vote being taken the following voted in favor: Cedarholm, <br />Keene, Brennan and Carlson, <br />and the following voted against: None <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
