RESOLUTION NO. 256 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF VILLAGE COUNCIL, VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA, HELD TUESDAY, MARCH 17, 1959. Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held at the Village Hall in said Village on Tue sday, the 17th day of March, 1959, at 2: 00 0' clock P.M.. The following members were present: Cedarholm, Keene, Brennan and Carlson and the following were absent: Shields Trustee Carlson introduced and moved the adoption of the following resolution: RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTIS~IENT FOR BIDS WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Village Council on March 19, 1958, the Village Engineers, Banister Engineering Co., have prepared plans and specifications for Project No.5 of Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. II and have presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY 'THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, NINNESOTA: 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto, and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the Rose Tribune, the official paper, and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published as required by law, shall specify the work to be done, shall call for bids upon the basis of a cash payment for such work, shall state that bids will be opened and considered by the Council at 11:30 o'clock A.M. on April 13, 19,9, Monday, in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall, that no bins will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit or certified check payable to the Clerk for 10 percent (10%) of the amount of such bid and that the advertisement shall state a completion date of October 15, 1959. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Trustee Keene, and upon vote being taken the following voted in favor: Cedarholm, Keene, Brennan and Carlson, and the following voted against: None WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
