<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING
<br />OF CITY COUNCIL
<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE
<br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
<br />
<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
<br />Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall
<br />on Monday, the fourteenth day of June, 1993, at 7:30 o'clock p.m.
<br />
<br />The following members were present: Goedeke, Maschka, Cushman, P.
<br />Johnson, and V. Johnson arid the following were absent: None.
<br />
<br />Councilmember P. Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its
<br />adoption:
<br />
<br />RESOLUTION NO. 8948

<br />AWARD OF BID FOR CITY PROJECT M-92-23
<br />CONSTRUCTION OF ARENA LOBBY BUILDING ADDITION
<br />JOHN ROSE MINNESOTA OVAL
<br />
<br />Whereas, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according
<br />to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office of the
<br />Manager of said City, said bids were received on June 11, 1993, opened
<br />and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received
<br />complying with the advertisement:
<br />

<br />WHEREAS, it appears that Arkay Construction of Golden Valley, Minnesota is
<br />the lowest responsible bidder at the bid base amount of $475,000 with no
<br />alternates considered;
<br />
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
<br />Roseville, Minnesota:
<br />
<br />1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into
<br />a contract with Arkay Construction for $475,000 in the name of
<br />the city of Roseville for the above improvement according to the plans
<br />and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and
<br />on file in the office of the city Manager.
<br />
<br />2. The city Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith
<br />to all bidders the deposits made with their bids except the deposits
<br />of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained
<br />until contracts have been signed.
<br />
<br />The motion was seconded by Councilmember P. Johnson and upon vote being
<br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Goedeke, Maschka,
<br />Cushman, P. Johnson, and V. Johnson and the fallowing voted against: None.
<br />
<br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
