EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING
<br />OF CITY COUNCIL
<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE
<br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville,
<br />County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville,
<br />Minnesota, on Monday, the 15th day of June, 2009, at 6:00 o'clock p.m.
<br />The following members were present: Johnson; Ihlan; Roe; and Klausing and the following were
<br />absent: Pust
<br />Councilmember Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
<br />RESOLUTION No. 10717
<br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS
<br />FOR TWIN LAKES INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans and
<br />specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were received on Monday
<br />June 1, 2009, at 10:00 a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received
<br />complying with the advertisement:

<br />Forest Lake Contractin $3,161.747.50
<br />Park Construction $3,333,258.79
<br />WHEREAS, Alternates 1 & 5 have been identified as work to be included in this contract adding
<br />$138,800.00 to the base bid.
<br />WHEREAS, it appears that Eureka Construction, of Lakeville, Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder at
<br />the tabulated price, including alternates, of $2,961,229.45, and
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota:
<br />1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Eureka
<br />Construction, of Lakeville, Minnesota for $2,961,229.45 in the name of the City of Roseville for the
<br />above improvements according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the
<br />City Council and on file in the office of the City Engineer.
<br />2. The City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits
<br />made with their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be
<br />retained until contracts have been signed.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota:
<br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Klausing and upon vote
<br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor Johnson; Ihlan; Roe; and Klausing and the following
<br />voted against the same: none
<br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
