This Agreement describes how the parties will mitigate the effects of a <br />to State construction project on the City. <br />11 <br />12 RECITALS <br />l3 <br />14 The State plans to let a contract to construct State Project Number 6241-51 and State Project <br />1s Number 6242-67 (Project) on Trunk Highway Number 280. The Project is located on T.H. 280 from <br />16 Wabash Avenue in the City of St. Paul to 0.22 miles north of Broadway Street N.E. in the City of <br />17 Roseville. <br />Is <br />19 The City owns and operates sanitary sewer and related equipment (Facilities) in part on private <br />20 property where the City has property rights, and in part within the limits of publicly owned right of way. <br />21 The Facilities are within the limits of the Project. <br />22 <br />23 The City must relocate the Facilities that are within the Project limits due to access issues (upgrading <br />24 T.H. 280 to freeway design). Metro District has authorized this relocation work to be performed. The <br />25 City has requested reimbursement for the cost of this relocation from the State. This sanitary sewer <br />26 relocation work involves the removal of the existing sanitary sewer from service that crosses Trunk <br />27 Highway Number 280 at Station 61 +00, removal of existing sanitary lift station on the east side of <br />28 Trunk Highway Number 280 opposite Station 61+20, installing 1050 feet of 10" pvc sewer pipe on the <br />29 west side of Trunk Highway Number 280 from Broadway Street N.E. to existing sanitary crossing of <br />3o Trunk Highway Number 280 and miscellaneous work. <br />31 <br />32 <br />Page 1 of 11 <br />
