EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 13`~ of July, 2009, at 6:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present; Pust, Roe, Johnson, Ihlan, Klausing and the <br />following Members absent: None <br />Council Member Roe introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10733 <br />A RESOLUTION VACATING A PORTION OF MT. RIDGE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY <br />(PROJ0021) <br />WHEREAS, as part of the TWIN VIEW plat, the City received a dedication of public <br />right-of--way for Mount Ridge Road. <br />WHERAS, the City desires to vacate a portion of the Mount Ridge Road public right-of- <br />way legally described as: <br />That part of Mount Ridge Road as dedicated in TWIN VIEW, according to said plat on file and of record in <br />the office of the County Recorder, Ramsey County, Minnesota, which lies southerly and southwesterly of <br />the following described line: Beginning at the intersection of the easterly line of Lot 6, Block B, TWIN <br />VIEW, and a line drawn parallel with and distant 168.18 feet northerly of the southerly line of Lot 7, said <br />Block B; thence easterly, along the easterly extension of said line drawn parallel with and distant 168.18 <br />feet northerly of the southerly line of Lot 7, 20.00 feet; thence southeasterly, to the northwest comer of Lot <br />2, Block C, said TWIN VIEW, and said line there terminating. <br />WHEREAS, the Public Works Director has determined that the portion of Mt. Ridge <br />Road public right-of--way legally described above is no longer needed for transportation purposes <br />and approving the requested vacation would not have adverse impacts on the public; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding the <br />easement vacation on June 3, 2009, voting (7-0) to recommend approval, based on the findings <br />of the Planning Commission project report dated June 3, 2009; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to vacate the <br />right-of--way described above, based on the information contained in the project report prepared <br />on July 13, 2009. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Pust, Roe, <br />Johnson, and Klausing; <br />and voted against: Ihlan <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
