<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 280 <br /> <br />Extract of Minutes of Meeting of Village Council, <br />Village of Roseville, Ramsey County, Minnesota, <br />held Tuesd~, August 11, 1959. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the <br /> <br />Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly <br />held at the Village Hall in said Village on Tuesday, the 11th day <br />of August, 1959, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Cedarholm, Keene, <br />Carlson, Brennan and Shields, <br />and the following absent: none <br /> <br />Trustee Brennan introduced and moved the adoption of the <br /> <br />following resolution: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />AND ORDERING ADVERTISEl1mT FOR BIDS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Village Council <br />on March 19, 1958, the Village Engineers, Banister Engineering Co., <br />have prepared plans and specifications for Project No. 7 of Sanitary <br />Sewer Improvement No. 11 and have presented such plans and specifications <br />to the Council for approval. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, <br />MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1. Such planet and specifications, a copy of which is attached <br />hereto, and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. <br /> <br />2. The Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in <br />the Rose Tribune, the official paper, and in the Construction Bulletin <br />an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under <br />such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be <br />published as required by law, shall specify the work to be done, shall <br />call for bids upon the basis of a cash p~ent for such council at <br />11: 30 0 I clock A.M. on Friday,: Sep tember 4th, in the Council Chambers <br />of the Village Hall, that no bids will be considered unless sealed <br />and filed with the Clerk and accoprpanied by a cash depositor certified <br />check payable to the clerk for 10 percent (10%) of the amount of such <br />bid and that the advertisement shall state a completion date of <br />June 1, 1960. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was roIly <br /> <br />seconded by Trustee Shields, and upon vote being taken the following <br /> <br />voted in favor: Mayor Cedarholm, Keene, Carlson, Brennan and Shields. <br />
