Demalstion: The City will agree to pay %r all costs for the de�llolition and <br />removaI of the buildings (Cuinmins Diesel and the lndianhead accessory <br />b�iilding} that need to be removed due to the construction o£T���iil Lakcs <br />Park�vay. We have antieipated this cost as part of the r•oad constructi.oaa.. 1t <br />should be no�ed that tl�e Twin Lakes Infrastructure Improvement Study, ��-hicki <br />req�iil-e� pro�er�y owners to pay fnr their }�roportionate share of iilfrastructure <br />costs at tk�e time of development, has d�inolition costs factored in as pairt of <br />the overall road costs. The road costs (and thus the demolition costs} wsll l7e <br />paid by all property ownersidevelopers (including your properties) based oi1 <br />the nlunber of networked trips each property generates. <br />2. Mount Rid�e Road: Staff has reviewed your request for the vacatioil of tlzc <br />Mount Ridge right-of way as it goes through your pro�erty south of firture <br />Twin Lakes Parkway and has determined that from a tra��sportation and traCfic <br />circulation perspeetive, a public road is not r�eeded. Staff has atso deternlineci <br />t11at the majo�•ity of the road was originally dedicated as part of the Twin Vie.�- <br />plat in the 1920s and a smalY portion was obtained by a quit clai.m decd .in <br />1959. Therefore, the City did not purchase the land for the right-of-way. <br />Based ou these facts, staff is supportive of vacating the right-of-way as yat� <br />request. It should be notied that the vacation ot� right-of �vay �'ill ��eed to <br />Follow a pracess ending with the City Council officially approving the <br />vacation. As staff we cannat guarantee that the City Council will vacate the <br />right-of-way, as that decision is ultimately theirs.
