However, by taking advantage of this 50% <br />matching grant, and considering current HVAC equipment depreciation ($740,400), payback to <br />the City would be only 12 years on an investment of $1,154,480. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />Authorize staff to apply for a 50% matching grant through the Federal Stimulus Recovery <br />Act/Geothermal Technical Program for extension of the existing geothermal energy system to <br />the maintenance building and city hall. <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
