To eliminate the eligibility of full-time employees of the fire department hired on or <br />after October 1, 2006 (Sections 52A and 52B). <br />B. To provide an avenue for the City to offer an alternative pension to the Relief <br />Association, providing a member who chooses a pension alternative to the Relief <br />Association would forfeit their eligibility fora Relief Association pension. (Section 53). <br />C. To reduce the minimum vesting period from ten (10) years to five (5) years (Sections <br />44A and 64 #7) <br />Pursuant to Relief Association bylaws, amendments to the bylaws must be approved by the <br />Roseville City Council. <br />Council Action Requested <br />By motion, adopt the attached resolution approving changes in the Roseville Fire Department <br />Relief Association bylaws, with the effective date retroactive to January 28, 2007. <br />
