This request was for a Local Human Rights Commission Project mini-grant. In your grant request you asked for $1,500 in order to provide a facilitated training on organizational effectiveness and priority setting for the commission. We are pleased to notify you that the grant review committee has approved a grant in the amount of $1,500 f'or your project. State financial policies prohibit us from using state administered funds to • provide food and beverages for meetings, this includes funds that are awarded as grants. Enclosed you will find the instructions you must follow in order to receive the benefit of the grant. Also enclosed is a grant agreement, which must be completed, signed and returned to our office prior to the project's commencement. If you have any questions, please contact Mario A.
