EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, August 10, 2009, at 6:00 o'clock p.m. <br />The following members were present: Pust; Johnson; Roe and Klausing and the following were absent: <br />Ihlan <br />Councilmember Klausing introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 10741 <br />RESOLUTION RELATING TO IMPROVEMENTS <br />P-07-02 NEIGHBORHOOD 10 RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT <br />DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING <br />PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL <br />WHEREAS, contracts have been let and costs have been determined for Improvement P-07-02 <br />Neighborhood 10 Reconstruction Project, the reconstruction of the street by the installation of concrete <br />paving, concrete curb and gutter, drainage, and necessary appurtenances; and <br />WHEREAS, the contract price for such improvement is $165,786.96, and the expenses incurred or to be <br />incurred in the making of such improvement amount to $32,300.42, so that the total cost of the <br />improvement will be $201,301.89. <br />NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. The portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the city is hereby declared to be <br />$152,087.23 and the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared to <br />be $49,214.66. <br />2. The City Manager, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper <br />amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of <br />land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a <br />copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection. <br />3. The City Manager shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the council thereof. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Roe <br />upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Pust; Johnson; Roe and Klausing <br />and the following voted against the same: none <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
