EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 5th day of January, 2009, at 6:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Roe, Johnson, Pust, Ihlan and Klausing. <br />and the following were absent: none. <br />Councilmember Roe introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10680 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT OF <br />COUNCILMEMBER TAMMY PUST <br />TO THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY IN AND FOR <br />THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE FOR A TERM TO EXPIRE 1N 2013 <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statues 469.003 Subdivision 6, states that "any member of the governing <br />body of a city may be appointed and may serve as a commissioner of the authority for <br />the city. The council of any city which appoints members of the city council as <br />commissioners may set the terms of office of a commissioner to coincide with the <br />commissioner's term of office as a council member," and <br />WHEREAS, on October 23, 2006, Councilmember Pust was appointed to start a new term that <br />would normally expire on September 23, 2011, but was revised by City of Roseville <br />Resolution No. 10446 at that time to coincide with her term on the City Council, <br />ending as of the first City Council meeting of 2009, and <br />WHEREAS, Councilmember Pust's term of appointment to the Roseville HRA board has thus <br />expired, and <br />WHEREAS, Councilmember Pust was re-elected on November 7, 2008, and takes office in January <br />2009, and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor has submitted for this Council's consideration the appointment to the HRA <br />board of Councilmember Tammy Pust, with a term expiring as of the first City <br />Council meeting of 2013, following the 2012 General Election; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council that the City Council <br />approves the Mayor's appointment of Councilmember Tammy Pust to the Roseville HRA Board. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by: Mayor Klausing. <br />and upon vote taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Roe, Johnson, Pust, Ihlan and <br />Klausing <br />and the following voted against the same: none. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted <br />
