Analyze critical issue areas to devise �d implement a federal strategy ta maximize <br />opportunities to secure �ederal resources for the Client's Twin Lakes Redevelop�nent <br />Proj ect. <br />2. Communicate and advocate the Client's development priorities to members of Congress <br />and representatives of federal agencies. <br />�'ut the Client staff in direct contact wrth decisian makers in Cangress and Federal <br />Agenci�es and maintain freq�ent direct contact with �fficials �o guide and improve <br />legislation of speciai concern. <br />4. Keep federal ot�ficials aware af press reports or positive local developments that can <br />enhance the Client position in federal com�nunicatians. <br />5. Alert the Client of crucial developments to �ntrcipate and respond to shifting fec�eral <br />conditions in a timely mar�ner. <br />6. Participate in telecpnference brie�ngslmeetings ar draft additional newsletters or reports. <br />7. Monitor %deral Iegislative; regulatory, and administrative develapments that may impact <br />the C�ient's priorit�es, including each step of the Congressional Appropriations process <br />and those programs and designations important to the Client's interests. <br />8. Serve as the Client's liaison with federal administrative agencies significant to the Client. <br />9. Apprise the Client of Federal agency rulesldeveloprnents that may impact legislative <br />priorit�es, <br />10. Attend arsd provide assistance and consuItation ta the Client's representatives during <br />visits to Washington D.C. <br />11, Provide �egislative consuItation on public relatians, strategy, and analysis. <br />12. �ommunicate through �'requ�nt telephone andlor eanail communications and written <br />summaries af action taken on behalf of the Client as wel� as future and suggested action <br />to help reac�i the Clienf's goals. <br />1;. Prepare an annual report priar to the end of tl�e agreeznent period that identifies results <br />obtained for the CIient, the issues still pending, and potential objectives for future <br />�egislative priorities. <br />
