Councilmember Ihlan expressed concern that the consulting finn, since just chosen, wasn't provided more input on selecting public rep- resentation and opined she would like to see as much public represen- tation as possible, suggesting that the community be divided into re- gions and citizens recruited from those community groups rather than simply based on who applied for the at large positions. Mayor Klausing noted that he had no problem seeking additional dis- cussion with the consultant, however noted discussion from the last meeting on the need to get the Steering Committee in place as soon as possible.
