1
i'.
:'
t
5

Skating Center staff provides most of the refrigeration system maintenance as
part of their daily activities. Therefore, specific maintenance costs are difficult to
quantify. The Geo-Xergy report outlines that a typical arena spends
approximately $12,000 -$16,000 annually in maintenance refrigeration related
tasks. The savings would be primarily in time and materials. Generally, new
equipment usually takes less time to maintain. Currently most maintenance at the
arena is done by existing staff so the time savings would simply free up staff for
other needed maintenance related activities.
; rr You also asked for information related to a phased plan. Geo-Xergy is working
i on that and as of this writing it is not available, we hope to bring it to your
meeting on Monday or get it to you earlier if possible.
7r
l
1 `:
1 F:
l
1°
y :
,
 .
2=
 i
[; .l
 •_
`} L
 ti
'
2
 r
'.
r, .
3
;

:3.=,
}
s-

 .a
`J A
 %
 _

A list of advantages and disadvantages of each option to consider are as follows:
1- Direct Refrigeration Option — Full Replacement
Advantages
* Most efficient system to operate
.
