Fire Hall
The total energy cost for the Fire Hall is approximately $11,400 per year (in 2006). Sixty
percent of the energy cost is for natural gas to provide space heating and service hot
water (SHW). The estimated efficiency of the gas rooftop units and infra red heaters in
the Fire Hall is 80%.
Gas consumption in 2006 was approximately 6,000 CCF, or the equivalent of 176,800
k1 ($0.0385 per EkW}). Electricity consumption was approximately 71,400 k in
2006, at a cost of $4,575 ($0.0641 per kWh}
Geo-Xergy Systems Page 11 of 3
