They include <br />the redevelopment of the Xtra Lease parcel by Cent Ventures (hotel/xestaurant} and the <br />United Properties proposal (senior housing) on the northern-most parcel. <br />In 2001, the Community Development Department received a Metropolitan Council <br />Livable Communities Demonstration grant to create a set of guidelines that would be <br />used by staff in its review of master-planned redevelopment proposals in the Twin Lalces <br />Redevelopment Area. <br />�{� "� ,� The B-6, Mixed Use Business Parlc Zoning District references a specific set of guidelines <br />�] to which proj ects must adhere (Business Parlc Design Standards). Known as the "Design <br />�.�. The Commission adopted a motion that respectfully requested that the City Council direct <br />the Planning Commission to worlc with the City's Community Development Department <br />staffto review and evaluate designprinciples that the Planning Commission determines <br />to be valuable to the Twin Lalces RedevelopmentArea. The Commission also seelcs <br />Council direction on a list of priority items to addr�sslconsider in developing such design <br />standards.
