FRONTAGES IN€I��, SUPPORT STREET LIF� AND INALKABI�I�CY— Well <br />designed building frontages provide an address on the public street or open <br />space. A consistent alignment of building frontages and street spaces support a <br />level o f street life that can increase the quality o f life for residents, workers and <br />customers and the values of the private property. MINIMIZED SETBACKS - Excessive setbacks leave the public right ofways <br />uninteresting and environmentally hostile to pedestrians. Buildings will front street such that their <br />frontages help iras�e public streets and open spaces. <br />❑ 3. STREETWALL— Building fi-nntages that are consistently aligned fan� a <br />streetwall, shelter pedestrians from bad weather and create a sense of place. <br />This will encourage inereased street activity beneficial to commercial <br />establishments while inereasing the quality of life for residents, workers, and <br />visiting customers.
