<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N #289 <br /> <br />Extract of Minutes of Meeting of the Village Council <br />of the Village of Rosev11le, Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice 'thereof, a regular meeting of the <br />Village Council of the Village of Rosevil1e., Minnesota, was duly held <br />at the Village Hall in said Village on Tuesday, September 15, 1959, at <br />2:00 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: All <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Trustee Carlson introduced and moved the adoption of the following <br />resolution: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PROJECT NO. 8 <br /> <br />WHEREAS pursuant to advertisement for bids for Sanitary Sewer <br />Improvement No.2, Project No.8 according to the plans and specifications <br />thereof on file in the office of the Clerk of said Village, said bids <br />were received on 9-4-59 at 11:30 a.m. opened and tabulated according to <br />law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Project 7 Project 8 <br />None $29,645.00 <br />181,740.25 40,850.00 <br />None 24,850.00 <br />None <br />26,960.00 <br />24,243.00 <br />29,000.00 <br /> <br />Barbarossa & Son, Inc. St. Cloud <br />F. Morettini Const. Co., st. Paul <br />Hurley Construction Co. <br />Robert Moore and Austin Keller <br />Lametti & Sohs, St. Paul <br />Acton Construction Co. <br />Nodland Construction Co., Inc. <br /> <br />WHEREAS it appears that Acton Const. Co. of St. Paul, Minn. is the <br />lowest bidder, at the tabulated price of $24,243.00. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED By the Village Council of the Village of <br />Roseville, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereb,r authorized and directed to enter into <br />a contract with Acton Canst. Co. for $24,243.00 in the name of the Village of <br />Roseville for Sanitary Sewer Improvement No.2, Project No.8, according to <br />the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the Village Council <br />and on file in the office of the Village Clerk, with the right reserved to the <br />Village of Roseville, b'{ appropriate change order and within thirty days from <br />date hereof. <br /> <br />2. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith <br />to all bidders the deposits made with their bids except the deposits of the <br />successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract <br />has been signed. <br /> <br />The motion was seconded by Trustee Shields and upon vote being taken thereon, <br />the following voted in favor thereof: All <br />and the following voted against: None <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
