Chie� Sletner noted the as�istance o� the Ramsey 7 County Dispaich Center in holding non-emergency calls for assis- S tance; numerous polic� reserve and off-duty offic�rs responding to the 9 depa�tmer�t offering their assis�ance as needed. Chief Gasaway noted the attendance at tonighi's meeting 17 of a number of firef ghters, noting tha� others were currently at Cen- 18 �a1 Park £or Family Night Out; and �xp�r�ss�d hzs prid� o�' them, both 19 as a residen� of Roseville and as the Fire Chief, p�bliely thanking 20 them and opinzng that thexx commitment to sezvzce "humb�ed" him. 2� Chief Gasaway reviewed the departmeni's main responsibility �'or �-es- 22 cue opera�ions on �he north shore, noiing �nany phenomenal rescu�s, 23 victim remova� and injury assessment. Chief C.�asaway opined tha� the residen�s o� Rose- 2Fa vi11e were extre�nely we�l-served by the pro£essiona� and ded�cated 27 sa�ety o��cers who, during a high stress and chaotic situation, re- 28 spondcd with organization and professionalism. Chief Gasaway �u�r- 29 ther opined that this professiona�ism by respondcrs was a collective 30 ef�ort and made a huge dif�erence in Iimited casua�ties at ihe bridge 31 col�apse.
