Roseui[!e City Code Section 503.�3, "Transporting ofi Weapans", ad�resses the legal transportation of bows ar�d arrows, but does not adc�ress the use of them in the Ciiy. Rose�il[e City Cnde 503.06, "Dangerous Weapons Prohibited", outlaws ihe use of numerous weapons ta include bows and arrows, but only when they are used against a person. Bows and arraws are nat adciressed in ar�y other Sections. The prc�posed additinr�al language to City Code, Seciion 505.10, Use af Baw and Arrow, speciiically bars the use of bows and arrows excepi in a small number of circumsfianees. Pafice staff cansu[�ed the City Cnde a� eight suburbs before su�mitting the prvposed langt�age. Golden Valley and Maplewood City Codes weighed heaviiy ir� the proposed wording.
