This safety project for <br />the �nelling corridor includes the fnllowi�g itnp'roveznents: <br />• Addition o£ a nort�bound through 1at1e on Snelling Avenue from a point just nart� af Roselawza <br />Avenue t�rou�� �o the TH 36 eas�bound ramps. <br />• New signal at Cauniy RQad B. The east and west legs of �his signal are �dex Raz�asey County <br />jurisdiction. Half a£ the cost �a construct tl�is signal is the res�onsibility af Rams�y Co�nty. <br />• Right turn lanes at Coua�ty Road B and S�ellzng, on both east and wesfi legs of the intersec�io�. <br />� New signal at the HarMar/ Skillt�aa�l Snellzng Avenue ir�tersection: T�e east and wesi legs of the <br />signal at HarMar and �nelling are �under Ci�y of Rosevilie jurzsdiction. Hal�oithe costs of this ��w <br />sig�aa� are th.e responsibility of the Ci�y oi Rnseville. <br />E�nergency Vehicle Pre-e�ptio� (EVP) Systems will be �einstalled on both the County Road B <br />signat ar�d thc Har Mar szgnal. These syster�as az�e very irrzpartant %r Eme�ger�cy vehicle response <br />times and intersection safety. The EVP exnit�ers allow £ar police, �re, a�d ambulances to over rid� <br />signa� timing and pass throug� the intersectian on a green 1igl�t. Costs associated wit� the <br />installation a� botk� intersect�on EVPs are s�ared equalIy between the City of Roseville and the State. <br />The �aintenance of t�e EVP will be t�e responsibiTity af the �tate. <br />Tkze provisions included in the agreeacnent are cansistent with a11 qt�er standxng signal agreernents <br />with Mn/DOT. <br />Fi�aneial Implieations: T�e sig.�als installcd as a part ofthis project a2'e proposed tn be �nanced <br />with Federal �'unds, Stafe Trunk Higl�way Funds anc� City Funds.
