RESOLUTION NO. <br />RESOLUTtON CALLING F�R A PUBL�C HEARTNG �N <br />THE �SSUANCE 4� VARIABLE RATE DEM�ND REVENUE BONDS AND <br />AUTHORTZING "�'HE PUBL��ATFON OF A NOTICE OF THE HEARTNG <br />(LUTHERAN CHURCH EXTEI�T�ION �'UND — MISS4URI SYNOD L4AN PROGRAM} <br />(a) W�EREA�, Article 15, Title 23 af ColoradQ Revise� Statutes and th� <br />Supplemental Public S�curities Act, Par� 2, Article 57, Titl� 11 oi the Coloradfl Revised Statutes (the <br />"Aci:"}, gives t�e Coiorada Educational and Culi�.ral �acilities Aut�axzt� ("CECFA") the powe� to <br />issue revenue obligations �or ��e purpase af �inancings projee#s which a�e permitted pursuant to the <br />�.ct; and <br />(b) WHEREAS, CEC�A has received from LCE�' Educational Suppart, LLC (th� <br />"Institutio�a"}, a proposal that CEC�'A und�rta�e a�ragram ta assist in fir�anciz�g, amang other �hings, <br />lnans �o the organizations described in Exhibit A to finaz�ce the pra�ects described in Exhibit A(the <br />"Projects"), ane of which is locatad in �he City o� Roseville, Minnesota (the "Ci�y"), through the <br />i�sua.nce oirevenue bands (in one or n�ore series) (fi�e "Bancts") pursuant to the Act; and <br />(c) WI�EREAS, �he City has been advised ihat a public hearing and City Cau�zc�l <br />ap�rnval af the �nancing af the Projects is xequired uz�der Sectio� 1�7(�} af the �nternal Rever�ue Code <br />because a portion a�`�'acilities to �e financec� l�y the Bonds are Iocatedl in the Ciiy: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council c�f the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, as follows: <br />1. A public hear�ng on the �roposal o�' the Institutio� will be he�d at thc time and <br />place set faz-k� in the Notice af Public Hearing attached hereto as Exhibit A. <br />2.
