RESOLUTION REQUESTING TRAFFIC STUDY AT COUNTY ROAD B AND RICE STREET WHEREAS, traffic flow at the intersection of County Road B and Rice Street is impeded by the configuration of the Rice Street Bridge over Highway 36 and the number of intersections in close proximity to t�e bridge, and WHEREAS, local business in this area and residential neighborhoods and pass through vehicles generate substantial traffic flows on County Road B and Rice Street, and WHEREAS, most traffic in this area is impacted by the impediments at Rice Street and Trunk Highway 36 Intere�ange area, and WHEREAS, efficient traffic flow and access to the regional transportation system is important to economic development around this corridor, and WHEREAS, future economic developmentand redevelopment may be jeopardized if employees and customers are negatively impacted by poor traffic flow in the area of the Rice Street interchange, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville that: The Roseville City Council supports legislation for the funding of the design of a new interchange at Rice Street and Trunk Highway 36 in the City of Roseville. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded �y and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor and the following voted against the same:
