City Council Regular Meeting — O1/08/07 <br />�RA�"'T Minutes - Page 8 <br />3.n Approve Railroad Crossing Signal Agreements for Long <br />Lake Road and Terminal Road <br />Pust moved, Kough seconded, approval [by adoption of <br />Resolution No. 10468 and Resolution No. 104691 of <br />Railroad Crossing Signal Agreement No's. 90449 and <br />90450 with Minnesota Commercial Railway Company and <br />the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnD4T} for <br />the Long Lalce Road and Terminal Road railroad crossings. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Roe; Kough; Pust; Ihlan and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />3.0 Renew Electrical Inspections Service Contract <br />Pust moved, Kough seconded, approval of the 2007 Service <br />Agreement between the City of Roseville and Tokle <br />Inspections, Inc.; and authorizing the Mayor and City <br />Manager to sign the agreement, pending review by the City <br />Attorney. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Roe; Kough; Pust; Ihlan and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />Consider Items Removed from the Consent Agenda <br />Resolution 10468 <br />Resolution 10469 <br />Railroad Crossing <br />Signal Agreements <br />for Long Lake <br />Road and Terminal <br />Road <br />Electrical <br />Inspections Service <br />Contract <br />Items Removed <br />from the Consent <br />Agenda <br />�:1� Designate 2007 Acting Mayor 2007 Acting Mayor <br />Mayor Klausing recommended appointment of <br />Councilmember Pust as Acting Mayor for 2007. <br />Mayor Klausing recognized, from discussions with <br />Councilmember Roe, the need for future Council discussion <br />for future appointments and a process to follow. <br />Councilmember Kough referenced State Statute regarding <br />the City Council appointing the Acting Mayor; and opined <br />that the appointment should be done by seniority, <br />supporting Councilmember Ihlan's appointment as next <br />senior member of the current City Council. <br />
