_ Roseville City Council � Standing Rules of Procedure � March 27,2000 C� � Rule 1 Regular Meetings '� Regular meetings of the Council shall be held at the City Hall on the second and fourth Mondays of each l�� month at 6:30 p.m. Appropriate notice and agenda in�'ai-�natior� shall be available to the media, posted on the [: City Hall bulletin board, on the City's WEB site and on goveri�en� access cable television. Such meetings [� may be rescheduled from time to time by action of the Council, when holidays or scheduling conflicts occur. E� L� Rule 2 Regular Work Sessions �� Regular Work Sessions of the Council for the purpose of discussion of issues before the City and not for the l� conduct of regular business or taking of official action shall be held on the third Monday of each month at l? G:34 pm. Special Work Sessions may be held at other times with appropriate notice given to the media, posted 1� on the City Hall bulletin board and City's WEB site, and on Channel 16 on Cable TV government access l�� cable television. Such meetings may be rescheduled from time to time by action of the Council, when ��7 holidays or scheduling conflicts occur. �I Rule 3 Special Meetings, Special Work Sessions and Executive Sessions _ Special meetings for taking official action, special work sessions for discussing issues before the City ?� without taking official action, and executive sessions to discuss ongoing or pending litigation and other �' � matters authorized or required by law must be called at the request of at least two (2) members of the � t� Council or the Mayor. The City Manager may poll Council members as to availability when regular ��:' business activities 1�nay require a Special meeting, Special Work Session or Executive Session. The City :`t� Manager will be responsible for notifying all Council members and the public of ineetings as provided ��a below. Only those items specifically agreed upon in advance by at least 2 members of the City Council �� shall be considered. At least (3) calendar days (72 hours) advance notice must be provided to all members �` of the Council and the public consistent with state law prior to the holding of said special meetings, work .�? sessions and executive sessions and such notice shall also be posted on the City Hall Bulletin Board at � i least three (3) days in advance of the Special Meeting. i ti. .� � Rule 4 Emergency Meetings �+5 �naergeney meetings may be called at any time in accord with State law. 3 �' �,� Rule 5 Cable Broadcast �� Regular meetings of the Council shall be broadcast live on government access cable TV barring technical �il difficulties where delayed broadcast may substitute.
