� .� Roseville City Council � Standing Rules of Procedure � March 27,2000 �a � Ruie 1 Regular Meetings i� Regular meetings of the Council shall be held at the City Hall on the second and fourth Mondays of each L�'� month at 6:30 p.m. Appropriatenotice and agenda information shall be available to the media, posted on the L L City Hall bulletin board, on the City's WEB site and on government access cable television. Such meetings !? may be rescheduled from time to ti�n� by action of the Council, when holidays or scheduling conflicts occur. ].3 l� Rule 2 Regular Work Sessions L 5 Regular Work Sessions of the Council for the purpose of discussion of issues before the City and not for the ] C} conduct of regular business or taking of official action shall be held on the third Monday of each month at ]' C:34 pm. Special Work Sessions may be held at other times with appropriatenotice given to the media, posted ]� on the City Hall bulletin board and City's WEB site, and on Channel 16 o��z Cable TV government access ]'� cable television. Such meetings may be rescheduled from time to time by action of the Council, when � u holidays or scheduling conflicts occur. �] �.�. Rule 3 Special Meetings, Special Work Sessions and Executive Sessions � 3 Special meetings for tal�ing official action, special work sessions for discussing issues before the City ?� without tal�ing official action, and executive sessions to discuss ongoing or pending litigation and other �5 matters authorized or required by law must be called at the request of at least two (2) ��zz�bexs of the � c} Council or the Mayor. The City Manager may poll Council ine�xa,b�r� as to availability when regular i� business activities may require a Special meeting, Special Work Session or Executive Session. The City �� Manager will be responsible for notifying all Council members and the public of ineetings as provided �?'� below. Only those items specifically agreed upon in advance by at least 2 members of the City Council ?�J shall be considered. At least (3) calendar days (72 hours) advance notice must be provided to all members _� L of the Council and the public consistent with state law prior to the holding of said special meetings, work :� i sessions and executive sessions and such notice shall also be posted on the City HaII Bulletin Board at a:? least three (3) days in advance of the Special Meeting. s:G 3� Rule 4 Emergency Meetings �+a Emergency meetings may be called at any tiine in accord with State law. �? 3� Rule 5 Cable Broadcast :� Regular meetings of the Council shall be broadcast live on government access cable TV barring technical �U difficulties where delayed broadcast may substitute. Other meetings of the Council may be cablecast at � L the discretion of the Council. Rebroadcastingmay occur as scheduling and resources permit. �? �3 �� �5 ��a
