��r�a�� a-� �� ;��.�� T�� ,�T � �T`�� I�T,��T�'1� r� �.��i� ��T�d-'T: WHEREAS, On or about February 7,2005, Ramsey County ("County"), a political subdivisionof the State of Minnesota, and the City of Saint Paul ("City"), a Minnesota municipality entered into a Joint Powers Agreement ("JFA") to create the East Metro Narcotics Task Force ("Task Force"); and WHEREAS, The Cities of Maplewood ("Map�ewood"); Roseville ("Roseville"), and White Bear Lal{e ("WBL") wish to become parties to the P A and members of the Task Force; and WHEREAS, The provisions of the Request for Proposals for calendax year 2007 funding issued by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety Office of Justice Programs require participating agencies to enter into a.TPA; and WHEREAS, Certain provisions of the �'.A. need to be modified due to the expansion of the parties to the �':� (collectively, "Parties") to include Maplewood, Roseville, and WBL as required in order to comply with the requirements for calendax year 2007 funding by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety Office of Justice Programs; NOW TI�REFORE, The Parties agree as follows: 1. On and after the effective date of this Amendment, the term "Agencies" shall mean the Ramsey County Sheriffs Office, the City of Saint Paul Police Department, the City of Maplewood Police Department, the City of Roseville Police Departz�e�at, and the City of White Bear Lake Police Department. 2. Section 2. Members, is revised to read as follows: . . _ . _"The_East .Mei�a Narcotzcs Task-Force (�ereinafter _"Task Force"). is hereby established.__ _ ... _ ._ . _ by the Parties. The Task Force members are Ramsey County, the City of Saint Paul, the City ofMaplewood, the City ofRoseville, and the City of White Bear Lal{e." The title of Section 4. is revised to read as follows: "4. Term of A��eezx�ez�tlWi�hdra-+�a3lTerminatinn", 4. Section 4.2 is revised to read as follows: "4.2 A Party may withdraw from the Task Force and termina�e its participation upon giving at least thirty (30) days' written notice to the other Paa-�ies. This Agreement shall automatically renew for additional one year periods ("Renewal Term") unless a majority of the then-current Parties gives written notice to the other Parties of their intent not to renew at least sixty (GO) days prior to the end of the then-current Initial Term or any Renewal Term." 5.
