I feel that a further understanding of the Parks and Recreation's issues and dynamic relationships will inform my position on other volunteer boards, and conversely, my participation on other boards will bring representation of some of Park and Recreation's constituents to the Commission. Clearly the local, major topic is the potential of a Roseville based _ recreational activity center. The commission advises the City Council, the City Manager and the �?arlcs and Recreation staff on issues regarding city parks, recreational programs, facilities, and events. As a citizen, volunteer commission, members should be informed of the needs, wants, and concerns of its fellow citizens and give voice to these.
