EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, Minnesota was duly held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, the 26th day of <br />March, 2007, at 6:30 p.m. <br />The following members were present: and the following were absent: <br />Councilmember introduced and moved the adoption of the following resolution: <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT FOR GRANT OPPORTUNITIES <br />FOR SICYCLE/PEDESTRIAN FACILITIES ALONG <br />�`A��2"VI�W AVENUE FROM COUNTY ROAD B2 TO ROSELAWN <br />WHEREAS, the Imagine Roseville 2025 visioning process identified sidewalks and trails as <br />important infrastructure to the community, and <br />WHEREAS, at least five grant solicitation processes have been identified that potentially could <br />be available to the City for bicycle and pedestrian facility improvements, <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville that: <br />The Roseville City Council adopts this resolution to apply for 2007 NTP Bicycle and Pedestrian <br />Facility Improvements along �'airview Avenue from County Road B2 to Roselawn, <br />And the Roseville City Council supports �he joint application for these improvements with the <br />cities of Falcon Heights, Lauderdale and Minneapolis, and the University of Minnesotato <br />provide improved bicyclelpedestria�. facility connectivity between the cities for its residents. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by and upon vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: and the following voted against the same: <br />
