The event b�-oughtthousandsof people to Central Park and exposed them to an incredible park system the citizens of Roseville are very proud of. This was a great recreational experience for people of all ages. W c do have some conc��ns regarding tl�a impact on Cenl�'�F Park resulting f�'otn the heavy, non- traditional, off trail, winter foot traffic generated by the Pioneer Press Treasure I�t�iz�. I would like to clarify and confirm our phone conversation�'�orn Monday, January 29`�'regarding Treasure Hunt activity m Roseville's Cei�tra� Park. We discussed rept�r�s of increased park activity over the previous weekend, I then inquired into whether the medallion was hidden in Roseville, you, understandably, were �Q�- coin��ittal. We then talked about the City of Roseville's concem over who would he responsible for post treasure hunt c�ean-ups and any possible repairs. You assured me that the Pioneer Press would b e fina��cia3Iy responsible to the City of Roseville for park repairs needed to return the park to its ��'�-�� condition and to making Central Park whole again following the Treasure Hunt. You also indicated this commitment would extend into the spring when some of the event's outcomes may be more obvious. Our park staff monitored the activity in Central Park and inspected all areas of the park for unseasonal damages. We would like to n�ake arrangements to discuss with you to the events of this year's hunt, future considerations and bow we will work together to restore Central Park, where needed following T7fi Treasure Hunt.
